Koichi Kiyono is a Japanese artist who is living and working in Japan. Koichi’s etchings are focused on an investigation of “LIFE”, capturing both spiritual and physical aspects.

“I regard the meaning of LIFE not only as my own existence but also as all living things, from the invisible organisms to the Earth. It also refers to the continuous cycles of Life’s Birth, Growth and Death."

"My etched recent works entitled the “Tide” series are based on my belief and inspiration that the Sea has been the mother’s womb of the Earth, and all living things on the Earth have been born by the permanent Rhythm and Pulse of Tide.”
