Genevieve Dionne Biography

Genevieve Dionne's work is often inspired by the depiction of women throughout art history. With a playful and humorous approach, she combines her love of drawing with the versatility of clay to make ceramic drawings. Her works comment on modern and ancient conventions of the female body, beauty, revisionist greek mythology, and botany’s role in domestic stereotypes. Genevieve graduated from The Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, with a focus on drawing and printmaking and currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
