Calgary based Artists Blake Senini and Kristine Zingeler come together in a duo show of 3-dimensional vessels created in natural materials which echo the small, insignificant moments in life.  Blake Senini carves in wood and Kristine Zingeler builds in clay and each creates hollow vessels that are rooted in nature but transcend their materiality to represent life's fleeting moments.  Their resulting sculptures echo the Buddhist concept of shunyata, where emptiness is not blank nothingness but rather a fertile space that holds potential for everything, a pause before creation.
